Strengthening children and teenagers’ development
“Teaching the skill of organising leisure for pupils and students in order to strengthen their ability and to support their personal development – a tool helping the young ones to avoid ostracism” – a project addressed to students between 13 and 15. Its main objective is to make outsiders participate in school activities. We want the children to spend their leisure through practical activities that develop their interests and skills. We would like to support students and teachers in the process of development through their participation in workshops teaching psychological and social skills. The activities will develop the participants’ creativity and interpersonal communication. They will learn about their strengths and talents to help them in their educational and professional career. Our objective is a young person who, faced with the threat of ostracism, has the sense of his/her own value and dignity. A chance for the young ones in the future job and an additional asset for the prospective employer. The project will also be beneficial for the teachers who will increase their educational competences and will be able to make use of the experiences from the partners’ educational systems. Thanks to this project the school has a chance to become a centre of local life.
